The MG TD was produced from 1949 -1953. The models are nowadays referred to as the MG TD, TD2 and TD Mark II. The engine for the new MG TD was the same 1250cc XPAG unit fitted to the previous model, the MG TC.There were many subtle changes to the TD, but most were unnoticeable to the untrained eye. One exception was the change from solid steel wheels to ventilated steel wheels. This change was essential because there were complaints that the brakes on the early cars were fading due to inadequate cooling.
This stunning MG TD which was first registered 01/01/1952 was originally supplied to the American market. First registered in the UK 01/03/14. Finished in old english white with green leather interior. Now RHD the car presents in fantastic condition through out and is believed to be restored, when the car was imported to the UK. The engine, gearbox and brakes feel good and the car drives really well given it’s age. The interior is fantastic, amazing condition with no marks or cracks. It looks really fresh and the green leather compliments the old english paintwork. Chrome brightwork and wheels are in great condition, along with the tyres which seem brand new. The car comes with full wet weather protection, side screens etc. Also included photos, letter from the previous owner, bills and invoices for work which is listed below.

To conclude I do believe that this is the best TD on the market today, given the attractive price asked for the vehicle. Great fun to drive on those summer evenings and ready to be used by the next owner. Fantastic value for money.
