The Citroen 2CV AZ is a piece of French History. Manufactured from 1954 to 1960 these cars are still great fun to drive on roads today. The AZ is recognisable by its long soft-top covering the trunk, its hood and side vents. In 1957 The bonnet was decorated with a longitudinal strip of aluminium. The 2CV AZ is extremely rare today, with only 600 estimated AZ still on the road.

This car is the 1960 model and was sold on the 2nd January of that year making it one of the last produced. That year Citroen customers were allowed to choose a new colour, Bleu Glacier, as before that, AZ’s could only be ordered in grey. The 2CV AZ offered here has been the subject of a body off restoration with the sole purpose of maintaining originality wherever possible. The paintwork was resprayed in the original Bleu Glacier and the interior re-trimmed in the original Bayadere fabric. The soft-top roof is new along with new tyres. A service on the engine has been carried out along with the gearbox, brakes, clutch, wiring and suspension. This AZ comes with French documentation, French Control Technique (like an MOT), invoices and bills totalling €5,166. Spare wheel, jack and tools are all included with the car. Overall the condition of this AZ is in fantastic. Freshly restored back to original spec this beautiful French icon is ready for the road. Cheap to run and so much fun to drive only.
