1969 FIAT 500L ‘Lusso'

Recent Work Carried Out
Comprehensively Restored Example
Desirable 'Lusso' Model
Invoices Totalling £3,487.58 From Classics JSWL

The Fiat 500 is the ultimate Italian city car. It is powered by a 499cc two-cylinder engine producing around 17bhp from new. A four-speed manual transmission came as standard. The ‘Lusso’ was a better-equipped version of the 500 with tubular front bumper guards, redesigned hubcaps and a trapezoid instrument cluster.
This example spent most of its life in continental Europe. It was imported to the UK and re-registered in December 2018. The car is in very good condition overall, comprehensively restored while in the possession of a former keeper. Its cream paintwork has been resprayed and now presents in excellent condition. Its black vinyl upholstery is in great shape, with no significant wear. There is some minor flaking to the wheel rims and the odd stone chip from general wear.
The history before the car arrived in the UK is minimal. The owner’s book will accompany the vehicle and A letter from Fiat confirming its Italian provenance. Lots of work has been carried out recently by Classics JSWL in Hampshire. All the invoices total £3,487.58 from Classic's JSWL in Hampshire. The most recent work was undertaken in May 2021 where technicians at Classics by JSWL replaced the carburettor drip tray and gaskets, the indicator lamp seal and bulb, the flasher relay and the indicator and brake light switches. In July 2020, the cooling fan, air filter pipe, oil filler filter, cooling fan hub, breather hose, gaskets and speedometer cable were replaced at Classics by JSWL. To conclude a super fun classic 500 with a lot of recent work. She presents extremely well and would be a fantastic little car for someone. A great investment, these little cars are becoming more poplar.
