The Audi RS4 Quattro is the top tier and highest performing version of the Audi A4 range and a well-respected performance car among enthusiasts. It boasts wider front and rear wheel arches than the standard manufactured variant to allow for the wider axle track on the RS4. Built between 1999-2001 this was a very poplar car that had great performance and practicality. The engine is a 2.7 litre V6 bi-turbo producing 375bhp developed by Cosworth when new. With a kerb weight of just 1,620 kilograms the car was light given its size. The RS4’s powerful engine gave it the performance of a sports car to rival, and even better the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG of the time period. 0-60 time was claimed to be 4.9 seconds, top speed was electronically limited to a little over 160mph. The Audi RS4 B5 was the successor to the Porsche tuned Audi RS2 Avant. With the value of the RS2 going up, the RS4 B5 will be close to follow. With only roughly 6,000 units produced world wide this is truly a rare car.
First registered 01/11/2000 with two former Keepers from new. The car has covered 99,063 from new, backed up by a full-service history from new. HPI Clear document shows no insurance damage, finance etc. Finished in Avus silver with black half leather half cloth. The condition of the RS4 is very good throughout, paintwork and interior all in very good condition. Even the engine bay looks fantastic and has been well detailed over the years. No kerbs on the alloys and no bumper scuffs or damage anywhere. Given the age of the car, it has the odd stone chip or light scratch. The RS4 also falls in to the lower car tax bracket, as it is registerd before March 2001. Original specification sheets show the options fitted to the car when new. The car comes with all its original books from new this includes the following, Service book, Owner's Manual, Sound book, Original warranty book and Two keys. A file shows all the recent work which has been carried out on the car. This includes four brand new Bridgestone Potenza's, New Brake discs (purchased from Audi), New Brembo pads, New Battery, New CV boot, Gearbox pipes changed, and work carried out by Audi along with a service from Audi.
